Home & Community Care Officer
The Health Coordinator is responsible for the planning and coordination of service provision to the Aboriginal Community in the Wodonga region. The Coordinator will also be required to increase understanding within mainstream service providers in the Wodonga region through the provision of Cross Cultural Awareness Training.Aims:
- To develop and maintain local community service provider links and networks. To be aware of and refer to other agencies when needs arise.
- To Network with health workers to provide education and awareness of health issues.
- To inform Aboriginal Community members of and to assist their access to health screenings, clinics and other health programs.
Covering the areas of:
- City of Wodonga
- Shire of Alpine
- Shire of Indigo
- Shire of Towong
